Miley Cyrus was not originally born with that name. Her given name was Destiny Hope Cyrus, and she was born on November 23, 1992. Her mother is Letitia Jean and her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, who is a famous country singer. Her middle name Hop was given to her because her parents both believed that she would do something great one day. Her nickname was Smiley, and eventually it became shortened to Miley. She spent most of her childhood on her father\’s farm in Franklin, Tennessee.

Miley Cyrus moved to Toronto with her family when she was 8 years old. She first became interested in acting after her father had taken her to see a play at the Royal Alexandra Theater. This was the beginning of a career in acting for Miley Cyrus. Just three years later, she became the lead of Hannah Montana, which is a Disney television series. Her mother was the person that helped her to achieve her dream of being an actress at a young age. When it came to her music career, her godmother, who was none other than the country music star Dolly Parton, guided her. Disney was able to make the television show Hannah Montana extremely successful. When it came to singing, Miley Cyrus\’ first single was the theme song of the show. 2007 was the year when Miley Cyrus\’ went on her first singing tour. The Walt Disney Company later released an album that included the songs that Miley sang on her \”Best of Both Worlds\” tour. There were numerous people that purchased this album. You can even find a Hannah Montana clothing line at the store that has been manufactured by the Disney Company. This company has done everything that it possibly could in order to not only make the television show popular, but it also made Miley Cyrus popular as well. In 2008, Miley Cyrus acted in the movie The Last Song. She even performed for the Queen of England in 2009, and she took part in a charity show after the earthquake in Haiti. Miley Cyrus is only 19 years old; however, she is one of the most sought after celebrities because she has a career in both acting as well as in music. She has more going for her then most of the celebrities that you see today. This is because she did not narrow herself down to just one kind of career.
